1. Open the Windows Registry

2. On the tree view pane, double click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, Windows, Current Version, Explorer, and Advance folders.

At this point you should here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/Advance

Check the picture to get an idea

3. On the list view pane, right click on an empty space.

4. Click on new and then click on the DWORD (32-bits) value option.

5. Name this new DWORD ExtendedUIHoverTime.

4. Double?click to open this new DWORD in order to change its values.

5. Click the “Decimal” radio button, and then change its value to the number of

milliseconds you would like the process to take. (Default is 400ms)

6. Enjoy

Important: if you have a super computer, do not change it. You will not notice the difference.
